HOW IT WORKS:

The Torch Run is a year-round opportunity for agencies interested in volunteering and leading a million dollar charitable initiative benefiting the athletes of Special Olympics Virginia. In addition to participating in a nearly 2,000 mile relay to Summer Games each June, the Torch Run also plans Plane Pulls, Polar Plunges, Cover the Cruisers and Tip-A-Cop events throughout the state.

Each year, law enforcement officers from across the state raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Virginia. 

The Torch Run has contributed more than $19 million to Special Olympics athletes in Virginia since its inception.
